Community Wellness Partners- Speak Life Initiative 
  • Free pregnancy assistance program focused on ethnic and racial minority women between the ages of 15 and 35 who are either have Medicaid insurance or are eligible.

  • Serving St. Joseph, Elkhart, LaPorte and Marshall Counties.

  • Helping with doctor visits

  • Connects to prenatal care 

  • Home visits

  • Help with food and housing needs 

  • Smoking cessation (Baby and Me Tobacco Free).

  • Services are provided by an Registered Nurse and Community Health Workers who are also trained as Doulas to assist with labor and birth

Goodwill Nurse- Family Partnership
  • Free program that provides first-time moms with home visits from a nurse, from pregnancy until age 2

  • Nurses will help moms have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby, and connect them to resources for jobs, school, housing, childcare, etc.

  • Must be less than 28 weeks pregnant to enroll

  • Must meet income qualifications

Healthy Families, Family & Children’s Center Program
  • Voluntary home visitation program

  • Parents must be enrolled before the baby is 3 months old (once enrolled they can stay in the program until the child turns 5 years)

  • For low income parents up to age 25

  • Increases positive parenting skills, health pregnancies, use of social systems, provide referrals
