  • B.A.B.E. is a unique "store" that offers incentives to expectant mothers and parents to encourage responsibility and improve self-esteem

  • Parents and parents-to-be earn coupons for keeping prenatal appointments, attending parenting classes, and other activities that improve child development and family health

  • Coupons may be redeemed at B.A.B.E. stores for items ranging from diapers to childproofing essentials

Christ Child Society
  • Clothing program

  • Each child, ages birth to 13 receives a new winter coat, clothing, shoes, underwear, socks and a book (gently used items are also available)

  • Clothing distribution is from mid-August to mid- December

  • A signed referral form is required from one of their partner agencies (list available at www.christchildsb.org) or from their child’s school

  • Parent or guardian must provide a birth certificate for each child and a photo ID for themselves (any child eligible for free lunch at school is eligible for CCS clothing)

  • New mothers can request a layette (a large tote filled with infant clothing, blankets and other necessities) when they deliver at one of the local hospitals (ask the hospital staff for a Christ Child Society Layette)
